Our Client

Our client is one of Australia’s leading distributors, specializing in food products and ingredients. Due to continuous growth and an expanding client base, they are seeking experienced Process Technicians/Production Operators with a forklift (LF) license.

About the Role:

Immediate start

Pay rate: $35.77 - $36.00 per hour + super

Day shift: 6 am – 2 pm, 38 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Perform repetitive tasks on automatic, semi-automatic, or single-purpose machines and equipment.

Carry out processes in the vinegar plant, including filtration, pasteurization, and transferring vinegar between tanks using the SCADA system. Manually operate valves and change connections in key stations.

Handle basic transfer operations in SAP, complete necessary paperwork, load bulk vinegar tankers, and fill pallet containers.

Perform general laboring and cleaning duties, including product handling, cleaning, tidying work areas, stacking crates, and removing rubbish.

Assist new employees as a work buddy and support managers in delivering on-the-job training.

Operate machinery and report any complex faults or issues to the team manager.

Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts (where applicable).

Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards in the work area, with awareness of microbiological containment.

Perform basic machine functions and ensure quality checks are met.

Follow all safety procedures and SOPs.

About You:

Experience in machine and forklift operation.

Willingness to undertake manual handling duties and stocktaking as required.

High attention to detail.

A valid forklift license is essential.

Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
