Junior Financial Accountant
Location: East Brisbane, Brisbane, QLD

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? My client are seeking a Junior Financial Accountant. This role is perfect for someone with a solid accounting foundation who is eager to develop their expertise in financial reporting, journal entries, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process general ledger journal entries, including accruals and prepayments
• Perform financial reporting and assist with month-end close processes
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers
• Conduct bank statement and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable reporting
• Process invoices, payments, and manage supplier obligations
• Support the finance team in monitoring working capital and cash flow
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries

About You:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end processes
• Proficient in using accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A fast learner looking to grow in an accounting & finance career
