Remuneration: $131,870.90 - $134,500.69 per annum

What you'll be doing
This role supports adult Community Mental Health Teams by addressing clinical risk, comorbidities, and psychotropic-related weight gain. It spans leadership, consultancy, education, and service development to enhance care quality and outcomes. Other responsibilities include:
- Providing expert assessment, crisis support and care planning
- Leading clinical practice, mentoring, and team development
- Driving education for staff, consumers, and carers
- Conducting and managing mental health research projects
- Guiding service planning, quality improvement and innovation

Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Postgraduate Qualification in Mental Health Nursing
- Registration: Current unrestricted Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum five years full time equivalent post graduate qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the speciality and post graduate qualification in field of practice.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing/midwifery practice.
- Demonstrated advanced communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and proven application of the practice development framework to clinical practice, including effective verbal, written and negotiation skills and intermediate computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the initiation, utilisation and review of evidence based research
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic and clinical service planning and expertise in the management of organisational and cultural change.
- Proven advanced skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and evidence of ability to direct the development of educational programs.
- Proven clinical expertise in complex client-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 acceptable)
