About the Role

The Asset Management Improvement Program aims to enhance our Utility Client’s asset management system. The Program Manager will drive program activities, ensuring alignment with executive strategy and overseeing multiple projects to assess cost, schedule, risk, and issues.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the Sponsor in delivering the program.
• Collaborate with sponsors, teams, and managers to define and manage project scope, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Monitor and report on program performance to key stakeholders.
• Lead and manage projects to ensure timely delivery and strategic alignment.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure change management practices are in place.
• Foster continuous improvement and promote organisational values.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of Asset Management and ISO 55001.
• Program and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Budgeting and financial management.
• Stakeholder management and communication.
• Data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record in managing asset management programs and projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management or operations.
• Desirable: PgMP or PMP certification.
