We are currently looking for a Program Manager for an Asset Management Improvement Program with a client based in Brisbane CBD for a 12 month contract.
The Asset Management Improvement Program establishes, describes and prioritises improvement projects for the uplift of the organisations asset management system and the practice of asset management across the business. The role of Program Manager for the AMIP is to drive program management activities to ensure successful execution and alignment with the organisations E2E Strategy. Key to the role will be overseeing and reporting on multiple projects being undertaken to assess cost, schedule, risk and issues.
Responsibilites:
- Support the Sponsor in successful delivery of a program of work.
- Collaborate with program and project sponsors, cross-functional teams and project managers to define and manage project scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for the program and its projects.
- Monitor and report on program performance, providing regular updates to Executive General Managers, General Management and other key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage project(s) within the program where required to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders and senior management to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies that may impact program success, ensuring resolution and escalation as required.
- Ensure change management practices are in place to support adoption and mitigate resistance. Maintain high standards of quality assurance to deliver a successful program.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Positively promote and actively role model values and behaviours to support the delivery of our services.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrated technical skills in:
- Basic understanding of Asset Management and ISO 55001 standard.
- Program and project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project).
- Risk management and mitigation strategies for both programs and projects.
- Budgeting and financial management for programs and projects.
- Stakeholder management and communication across program and project levels.
- Data analysis and reporting for program and project performance.
Mandatory
- Proven track record of managing improvement programs and projects relating to asset management, asset operations and/or maintenance of civil infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management and or asset operations.
Desirable:
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or similar certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
