The role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated & experienced Retail Assistant / Administrative Assistant to join the team at Rosalie Gourmet Market in Paddington, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering a flexible work schedule to suit your needs.

Key responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their shopping needs

Ordering, restocking and organising merchandise to maintain a tidy and well-presented store

Handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system

Performing a wide range of administrative tasks including answering phones, assisting with catering orders, monitoring & responding to emails

Supporting the store management team with various projects and initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment. This position is not suited to school students or new school leavers. Full Australian working rights are essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic administrative software (e.g. Microsoft Office)

A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the success of the business

Shifts / hours

Minimum of 3 shifts per week up to 5 shifts a week. 6-8 hours per shift.

Additional hours will be required at busy times such as Mother's Day and the lead up to Christmas.

Full availability essential in December up to and including 24 December.
