About the role

Rosalie Gourmet Market is seeking an Experienced Baker / Chef in Gourmet Deli to join our team on a casual basis in our Paddington, QLD 4064 location. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the operations of our renowned gourmet deli and showcase your exceptional baking and culinary skills.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and baking a variety of freshly made cakes, sweet slices and other baked goods to the highest standards

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a baker or chef in a gourmet deli or similar environment

Strong baking and culinary skills, with the ability to prepare a wide range of high-quality baked goods and deli items.

Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations, with a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace

Friendly and approachable interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

A passion for creating delicious, high-quality food and a dedication to providing an exceptional customer experience

A minimum of 2 shifts per week, up to 5 shifts per week (depending on the candidate's availability). Starting time approx 6am (Mon to Sat), and 6-8 hour shifts. No split shifts or Sunday shifts, however additional hours will be required at busy times such as Mother's Day and Christmas.
