Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed submissions for tenders, Tier 1 clients, BMA/BHP, TMR, RMS, ARTC, Powerlink, Transgrid, and others. This role involves producing cost estimates, programs, and procurement documentation for a variety of Piling & Foundation works contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and compile detailed bids/quotes for Piling & Foundation projects throughout Australia.
• Manage due dates and deliverables autonomously.
• Collaborate with industry experts to ensure innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Identify risks and provide cost estimates to support senior management’s decision-making.
• Develop specifications, negotiate, and implement contracts with equipment, materials, and service providers.
• Ensure continuous improvement, relationship management, and OHS compliance.
• Seek out Estimating panels to get LTS included in tendering stages.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction/Piling industry in an estimator role.
• Proven experience in project estimation and new business development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project), and familiarity with Mac and iPhone apps.
• Ability to work from home at times.
