But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

THE ROLE

JJ's Waste & Recycling are looking for a skilled and reliable HR Driver to support a range of operations in the Sunshine Coast region, based out of our Yandina depot.

This is a hands-on diverse role that offers plenty of variety in your day-to-day tasks, giving you the opportunity to contribute across multiple functions.

This role is for a minimum of 2 days per week with the opportunity for regular extra hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Servicing and restocking washroom and hygiene products

Performing scheduled visits across a range of customer sites

Operating HR vehicles and equipment safely

Supporting site operations, including basic yard and machinery tasks

Staying active throughout the day with physical, on-the-go duties

Delivering friendly, face-to-face service and building rapport with customers

Following strict safety protocols and contributing to a safe work environment

This is a casual opportunity with the potential to transition to permanent for the right person.

ABOUT YOU

Current HR licence - essential

Skid Steer ticket – advantageous

Comfortable in a customer-facing role; excellent communication

Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance

Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

Have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Blue Card

All applications must be accompanied by a 10-year QLD Roads Driving Record
