HR Driver - Townsville

About Role

Toll People are currently seeking an experienced HR Driver to work with our leading client in Townsville. You will be responsible for delivery of palletised freight, Loading & unloading trailers, Manual Handling of General Freight, Multi Drop deliveries & Customer Service. This role is suited for drivers who are seeking ongoing work Monday to Friday with a view to Full Time Employment.

Morning shift commenced 7am with a pay rate of $41.38 p/h + overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive local knowledge
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Ability to complete Multi Drops within and around Townsville
• Keep your vehicle clean and presentable and ensure relevant maintenance and safety checks are carried out regularly

Skills & Experience:

• Current HR drivers license with 1yrs exp
• Tailgate experience
• Multi Drop experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of Load Restraints
• Co-operate with your employer to ensure all safe work procedures are adhered to
• Observe and practise correct safe work methods
• Immediately report any unhealthy and/or unsafe working conditions, hazards, equipment, or practices to your manager/supervisor and make suggestions on improvements
• Immediately report to your manager/supervisor all injuries, illnesses, incidents and near misses - no matter how minor
