Aspect Personnel are currently working with a Victorian council to recruit an experienced Asset Systems and Data Officer(s). The role will be an initial 3-6 month contract.

The role will be office based however, there is flexibility to work part-time (4 day week or 9 day fortnight)

The primary focus of the role will be:

• Enter and update asset data in Council’s Asset Management System (CONFIRM) and GIS.
• Analyse and report on asset data accuracy
• Work with GIS Officers to improve data and accuracy of council's GIS systems.
• Collaborate with departments on asset handover and data collection practices.

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or other relevant qualifications
• Asset Engineering/ Asset Management experience, ideally within a Local Government work environment
• A solid understanding of GIS and council asset management systems including Confirm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong attention to details and accuracy
• A current drivers license
