Responsibilities:
This Senior Group Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the risk management and compliance frameworks across the Group and its subsidiaries. This role ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, identifies and mitigates business risks, and promotes a strong culture of governance and integrity within the organisation.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Risk and Compliance Framework across all the Groups entities.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
  • Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring compliance across all business units.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant statutory, legal, and regulatory obligations, including strata management, insurance, legal, and fire compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Provide guidance and advice on compliance matters to senior management and employees.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in risk management, compliance, or governance, preferably within property, strata, real estate, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks, including strata, insurance, WHS, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies, risk frameworks, and audit processes.
  • Experience in risk identification, mitigation strategies, and compliance monitoring.
