Overview:
An outstanding opportunity to join a global team with our client as a Lead Network Architect and to be responsible for leading the design, development and architecture within the Network and Cloud.

In this role you will drive innovation in network technologies, including cloud networking, SDN (Software- Defined Networking) and next- generation network security.

This is a Permanent role based in Brisbane or Perth.

Must have experience in:

• 12+ years of experience in Network Architecture and 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing complex global networks, including network security, LAN/WAN, data centre networks, cloud networks, wireless connectivity solutions and hybrid environments.
• Oversee the design and implementation of highly available, reliable, and secure network architecture for the organization’s global operations.
• Design complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, cloud integration, edge computing, wireless connectivity solutions and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven experience in network security, SDN, and cloud-based networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and VPN technologies.
• Strong background in managing vendor relationships and overseeing network procurement.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Cyber Security, broader Architecture teams and Technology Asset teams to ensure the network strategy and reference architectures supports organisational objectives and business requirements
• Ensure network architectures and designs are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and internal security policies (e.g., SOCI Act, ISO 27001, NIST).
