About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Assistance Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team. You will work and support the daily operations of the business ensuring accurate and timely reporting and maintaining strong financial controls.

Your key duties will include:

Completing daily cash reconciliations

Assistance with month end processes and reconciliations

Preparing and processing invoices and receipts

Carrying out cash audits and monitoring cash controls

Assisting in the creation of procedures and process improvements

Assisting in updating key database information

Providing administrative and reporting support to the management team

What we’re looking for

The successful applicant for this role will have:

Degree in Accounting

Working towards or interested in achieving a CPA/CA qualification

Strong computer and MS Excel skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
