We are seeking a permanent fulltime Encapsulation Operator (Tablet, Coating) to join our Production team located at our Northgate facility. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, this a great opportunity for a self-starter to take responsibilities that will include Encapsulation, Tabletting & Coating activities. This important role for us will require our successful candidate to follow documented procedures, complete batch documentation, performance process checks and optimise the performance of our equipment. This appointment will proactively contribute towards the continuous improvement of our processes, equipment, work practices and systems.

This role requires an ability to work independently within our fast-paced and friendly team environment in a GMP compliant Production facility, where loyalty and high work ethic is valued and rewarded. This either a day shift appointment working 6am-2:30pm, 5 days per week or ideally an afternoon shift appointment working from 2:15pm – 10:45pm, 5 days a week (afternoon shift employees receive an additional 15% on their hourly rates).

Key responsibilities include:

Involved in all aspects of our Encapsulation, Tablet & Coating activities; including the set up, running, troubleshooting, disassembly and cleaning

Complete all tasks with a high level of accuracy and in line with documented procedures at all times

Assist in the production of goods in accordance with the production schedule

Proactively practice and abide by Metagenics Health and Safety policy

Clean the facility and equipment as directed

Skills and Experience:

Experience working in a regulated environment in food, natural medicines or Pharmaceuticals industry

Experience within a production facility, good knowledge of GMP processes ideal

Strong written and verbal communication skills
