The Role
Become a member of a team that delivers contemporary nursing education to support students to achieve a nursing qualification leading to registration as an enrolled nurse.
This permanent part-time role involves teaching and assessing in various forms, adhering to the highest standards and compliance requirements.
On any given day, you will:
- Develop and oversee teaching materials, resources, and equipment, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Support and mentor students to thrive and reach their fullest potential
- Stay sharp by continuously improve your vocational knowledge to create and embrace new technologies and industry innovations
- Teach using philosophies and techniques to provide quality education
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Support students to think critically like a nurse
What you bring:
- Clinical expertise and current industry skills
- Role model nursing practice in a professional manner
- Cert IV Training and Assessment (essential)
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
TasTAFE empowers you to excel as an educator and practitioner. Providing opportunities to further develop your skills and knowledge.
A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement is required.
