Plyco is an Melbourne based manufacturer and distributor of timber based panel products. We supply a wide range of panel products to the building and construction industry, retail customers and the general public for projects ranging from commercial to DIY.

Plyco is seeking to recruit an experienced and energetic Retail or Trade Sales Person to join our friendly Fairfield team.

General responsibilities include:

Providing customers with both a friendly and high quality service

Answering sales enquiries both over the counter, email and by phone in a courteous and helpful manner

Preparing sales quotes and orders for trade and retail customers

Playing an active role in the sales team to achieve store revenue and profit targets

Cash handling

Data Entry

Assisting customers in our warehouse

Selection Criteria: Essential skills/experience:

The ability to work as a member of a team

Great follow-up skills combined with excellent attention to detail

Strong sales and negotiation skills

High energy and enthusiasm

A strong work ethic

Competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & basic Excel

• While experience in the timber panel industry is not required a willingness to learn on the job is essential
