Rustica has outstanding opportunities for hospitality professionals to join our team at our Highpoint Shopping Centre cafe.

We are now looking to onboard an Shift Supervisor to work in a high volume dining venue working closely with a large team to deliver on excellence in product and service, without compromise.

The roles of the Shift Supervisor is to lead exceptional services every day. The role requires a leader with great coaching skills to guide and develop our front of house team. You have a flair and natural passion for the industry and take ownership for delivering a 5 star customer experience. Beyond shift management and people development the role will also include a broad spectrum of hospitality management tasks around labour controls & stock management.

Key functions of the Shift Supervisors role:

Assist in leading a team of baristas & wait staff

Play a key role in developing and inspiring junior staff

Undertake specific management tasks and at times be responsible for the entire venue including opening and closing duties

Be a part of a management team that is financially aware and delivers on KPIs

Able and interested in learning about all aspects of the operation especially around operational efficiencies and stock controls

Familiarity with Deputy, Lightspeed and other Hospitality IT

You are a hospitality professional with a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for the industry.

About YOU:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position (fast food industry not included)

Must have experience in leading, motivating and developing a team with a “hands on approach”

You are down to earth, calm, resilient with a good sense of humour

Strong work ethic, self motivated with a “can do attitude”

Commercially and financially astute with excellent attention to detail

Experience in managing within a large high volume venue
