The Firm & The Role

Our client is a commercial law firm experiencing significant growth and they are looking for a junior lawyer (with around 1 to 3 years pae) to support senior lawyers and principals.

The firm works with clients in the property, construction, insurance industries as well as SMEs, high net worth individuals and major corporations.

The role will see you working on mainly litigation matters. You will be attending court and tribunals, interviewing witnesses, assisting with the drafting of court documents and submissions, assisting with the drafting of advices to clients, drafting letters of advice, assisting with client seminars, client workshops, writing articles for clients.

This role will see you gaining 'hands on' experience. The career path is transparent and for those who are ambitious, you can progress quickly.

About You

You will ideally have around 1 to 3 years pae experience in the area of commercial disputes, property law, insurance law or construction law. You will also have the following:

• strong writing skills
• attention to detail
• strong communication skills
• highly developed organisation skills
• ability to juggle competing deadlines
• ability to work independently but also as part of a team
• enthusiasm, be self-motivated and have a good work ethic

Pre-admission experience will be highly regarded and this role can be open to newly admitted lawyers.
