About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the permanent appointment of 3 HP4 Team Leads in the BDARS based at UCH. These positions are open to registered allied health professionals with a suitable level of experience and expertise in delivery of ambulatory and community allied health rehabilitation and aged care services.

The Team Leader positions provide clinical and operational leadership and clinical governance functions with support from the HP5 Brindabella Day and Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services Manager. The 3 Team Leaders will support clinical operations of Brindabella services and provide supervision, support and leadership for staff within the services. The Team Leader positions also provide some clinical coordination of complex clients, through referral management, leadership in clinical discussions for complex clients in case conferences and service leadership and coordination of the CHS Motor Neurone Disease service. The individual positions will have designated responsibility for specific clinical teams within BDARS, however the positions may be required to participate in a roster and/or demonstrate the ability to cover across clinical services.

This recruitment round will be used to fill 3 permanent Team Lead positions, 2 x Full-time, 1 x Part-time. A merit list will be created for future backfill and leave cover.

  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required for non-AHPRA registered professions.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
  • Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
