About the role

Our Banking client are looking for Data Modellers on permanent basis due to immense growth in their Data Architecture portfolio in Payments space. You will be joining their elite team and playing a lead role in providing the specialist skills needed to drive the maturity of their next generation data platform on AWS cloud. They are urgently looking to fill this position to provide critical support to their Data Enablement portfolio and provide a robust data modelling structure in their growing team. Experience working with AWS cloud, NoSQL database service/ product experience (DynamoDB/ Apache Iceberg/ MongoDB/ AWS Redshift/ Aurora)is essential for this role.

Skill Sets

You need to have the following skill sets to excel in this role:

• Extensive experience working in data modelling and solution designing in Financial services organisations like banks or insurances (5+ years experience in data modelling).
• Excellent experience of data modelling principles across conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Proficiency in NoSQL service/ products (DynamoDB/ Apache Iceberg/ MongoDB/ AWS Redshift/ Aurora).
• Experience in different data modelling techniques and design patterns like 3nf, Data Vault, kimball etc.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts and experience with tools such as ETL, data integration, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar tools is a plus.
• Previous experience working with payments systems(Kafka) and understanding of payment processing flows is highly desirable.
• Experience leading discussions and presentations. Experience in driving decisions across groups of stakeholders.
