We are seeking applications for a highly capable and values-driven individual to join our dynamic Research and Evaluation team at Dental Health Services (DHS).
This is for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment until 31 December 2028.
What is our Aboriginal Research Assistant role?
This position assists the Senior Dental Research Officer in undertaking research projects and support engagement with Aboriginal communities; assists in participant recruitment and in the provision of dental treatment to study participants; acts as liaison between research investigators and aboriginal communities with respect to the research project.

About Dental Health Services (DHS)
DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy Schemes and Special Dental Services.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
