The client will be competing with the best in the class to further expand on their existing award-winning group of venues. The role:

• Menu Creation & Recipe Development - Design and execute an exceptional on-trend menu, with a strong focus on spice driven authentic modern Chinese.
• Supplier Relations & Sourcing - Establish and maintain relationships with top-tier suppliers to ensure only the finest produce and ingredients are used.
• Recruitment & Onboarding - Hire, train, and lead a top-performing kitchen team, ensuring a smooth opening and long-term success.
• Training & Development - Mentor and develop the incoming team, instilling a culture of excellence, consistency, and professionalism.
• Operational Leadership - Implement and uphold best practices in food safety, cost control, and kitchen efficiency.
• Collaboration & Innovation - Work closely with senior management, front-of-house teams, and suppliers to deliver a seamless and outstanding dining experience.
• Quality Control - Maintain the highest culinary standards, ensuring consistency across every dish that leaves the pass.

About you:

• Proven in depth experience as an executive chef for a high volume and quality driven Chinese restaurant.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in recruiting and training teams for a new opening.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a drive for perfection in every dish.
• Experience in cost control, supplier negotiations, and kitchen financials.
• Strength both with administration, financial proficiency and team management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
