As they continue to expand, they are now looking for a Payroll Officer to join their experienced Brisbane-based team.


The Role

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll operations. This includes end-to-end payroll processing, compliance management, and supporting payroll projects and system improvements. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the organisation’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting awards and ensuring accurate application of employee pay conditions.
• Managing and distributing payslips, weekly/monthly costing reports, and payroll data for managers.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory payroll obligations, reporting, and documentation.
• Processing monthly payroll and handling leave forms, terminations, EBAs and reconciliations.
• Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Entering new employees and maintaining payroll records.
• Supporting Accounts Receivable and Payable functions.
• Assisting with month-end close processes and credit/debit card reconciliations.
