You're in luck – Oakberry is on the hunt for a driven and energetic leader to join our team part-time (24 hours per week)! We're looking for someone passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience while managing all aspects of our mobile shop and daily operations.

What will your workday look like?

Creating happy and memorable customer experiences;

Leading a team in a fast-paced, mobile hospitality setting;

Managing staff hiring, trials, and building the weekly roster;

Driving engagement within the team and with customers;

Preparing our delicious açaí bowls and smoothies;

Overseeing operations including food prep, stock, and service;

Taking care of inventory counts, stock orders, and supplies;

Handling major cashier duties and customer transactions.

Additional responsibilities:

Bump in & bump out duties: You'll manage the daily set-up and pack-down of our Oakberry truck.

This includes bringing the truck from our garage (7:30am) to North Bondi, where we operate daily.

At the end of the day (6pm), you'll return the truck to the garage and ensure everything is reset for the next shift.

This takes approx. 1 hour and you’ll only be responsible for doing this yourself when rostered to open or close – typically around 4–5 times per week.

You'll also manage the rest of the team who shares this responsibility.

Some important things to know:

⁠You must have a valid driver’s license and feel confident driving a truck – no special truck license is needed, as our vehicle is similar in size to a standard food truck.

Please note: the driver seat is on the left-hand side (unlike standard Australian vehicles), but you’ll still be driving on the left side of the road, as per Australian road rules.

Our standard trading hours are roughly 9am to 5:30pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
