The Role

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior Stockbroker. This is an entry-level role designed to provide you with hands-on experience in stockbroking and sales. You'll work directly under a Head of Desk and be responsible for client acquisition and business development. The role offers a clear progression path to becoming an Investment Manager, where you'll manage your own book of clients, execute trades, and provide investment advice.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Client acquisition and building a book of clients with share portfolios will be your main focus. To do so, your primary task in the initial months will involve calling company leads to generate new business.

Engage in outbound calling to generate new business leads

Building and maintaining client relationships

Assist our senior stockbrokers in researching and analysing financial markets and stocks

Host webinars with ASX companies

Monitor market trends and macroeconomic movements affecting financial markets

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in sales, business development, or a similar phone-based role is highly regarded

Strong ability to engage in meaningful conversations over the phone

Solid understanding of financial markets and investment principles

Highly motivated, results-driven, and eager to succeed

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
