Your Opportunity
This role will support and assist clients in our crisis units in stabilizing, regaining confidence and transition back into the community.
Your key responsibilities will to:
- Support and empower clients to undertake daily living skills, medication management and wellbeing plans
- Provide emotional and practical support tailored to each client's needs
- Create and update individual client files, notes and reports as required
- De-escalate challenging behaviours with sensitivity and professionalism
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including family/supports of consumers, service partners and government agencies
Requirements for success
- Experience working in mental health, social care or crisis settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the recovery orientated principles and framework, as well as psycho-social rehabilitation
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Valid NSW Driver's licence
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, reference checks, and WWCC.
