Join Our Team as a Commis Chef – The Point Brisbane Hotel

The Point Brisbane Hotel is home to Lamberts Restaurant, delivering 5-star dining experiences with a buffet breakfast, and à la carte lunch and dinner service. We also feature Eagles Nest, our renowned rooftop bar, which serves contemporary food and cocktails from Thursday through Sunday, with breathtaking views over Brisbane.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Commis Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time basis. Reporting to our experienced Head Chef, Marcus Turner, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes for our buffet and à la carte offerings, as well as preparing food for hotel functions and events.

The role offers a mix of shifts—including mornings, day service, evenings and function work—with no split shifts

What We’re Looking For:

Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)

Availability for a variety of shifts, including early mornings and evenings

Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment

A calm, collaborative, and team-focused attitude
