Peterson House Group is looking for experienced Demi Chefs, Commi Chefs and Chef de Parties to work at Blaxland Inn Steak House. With the potential to work at our other venues including Restaurant Cuvee and Peterson House Weddings.

The right candidates must have a passion for working with seasonal ingredients and a desire to deliver the best experience to our customers. A strong work ethic is a must and be available to work breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts depending on the venue.

About us

Blaxland Inn, which is the premium steak house of the Hunter Valley. Our restaurant is open seven days a week for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Famous for our house smoked meats, range of steaks and our home made pies.

Menus at all venues are adaptive and are only limited to the teams imaginations. Our teams are diverse and dynamic with the benefit of working at all venues or whatever suits your lifestyle.

Restaurant Cuvee and Functions are our award winning venues that operate up to 7 days a week. Restaurant Cuvee is open for breakfast and lunch only 7 days, famous for our Bubbly Breakfast and our take on modern Australian cuisine.

Prepare ingredients, recipes and menu items to the standards required

Work closely with other team members

Willingness to put input into menus and specials

Have good communication

What we need from you

Food Knowledge

A great work ethic

Ability to work in fast paced kitchens

Must have a valid drivers licence, or a reliable way to work

Weekend work essential, flexible working hours

To be based within 60km of the Hunter Valley
