The role

We’re looking for one (or two) disability support workers to support a woman in the Strathpine area 5 days a week, totalling 30 hours per week. The below times may change slightly from time to time, and for the right candidate, they can be adjusted slightly.

Monday 2pm-7pm (5 hours)

Tuesday 10am-4pm (6 hours)

Wednesday 2pm-7pm (5 hours)

Friday noon-5pm (5 hours)

The role requires the Support Worker to have their Blue Card, as there will be children in the home from time to time when the children visit.

Job Requirements:

Independant contractors only (own abn etc)

First Aid and CPR Certificate

Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card)

NDIS Worker Modules

Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged or Disability Care

A Current Australian Federal Police or Queensland National Police Check

A current and valid Australian drivers licence

A roadworthy and registered vehicle (KM's reimbursed)

Ability to work in Australia

Suitably qualified professionals with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

A positive and empathetic attitude, with the ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

Experience in providing personal care and supporting daily living activities.

Shifts can be varied, from 5 hours a day to 24 hour care.

Rates: Support Workers - $42.50 per hour plus shift penalties
