We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Finance system changes for a large energy company. This role involves working with a diverse user group located overseas and locally.

Scope of work includes:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the project, including design, build, test, and deploy phases.
• Coordinate with international teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and manage commercial aspects of the project.
• Monitor and control project costs and schedules to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring the planned go-live in October 2025 and project completion by mid-December 2025.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.

Background and Experience Needed Includes:

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end project delivery.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Agile, Waterfall).
• Demonstrated experience in risk mitigation, commercial acumen, contract negotiation, and cost and schedule management.
• Understanding of Finance to ensure delivery of assigned projects; eg SAP Finance and/or Tax System implementations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with international teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications and project management certifications undersood.
