The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction of projects for Bailey Homes, these primarily being projects associated with the construction of new homes, extensions, renovations and landscape construction.

This is a hands-on role and responsibilities include managing projects; managing and co-ordinating site staff, subcontractors and suppliers and ensuring all site staff and subcontractors adhere to the Bailey Homes WH&S policy. The Construction Supervisor will also liaise with clients updating progress and responding to client questions.

The Construction Supervisor will manage and ensure prompt completion of all project stages through to handover.

The Construction Supervisor is required to achieve deadlines as determined within the scope of each project and/or as may be determined by the Construction Manager.

In undertaking this role, the Construction Supervisor is to ensure the consistent delivery of a high level of customer service, displaying a professional interest in understanding and meeting the needs of the client, and to professionally represent Bailey Homes at all times. The Construction Supervisor is required to accurately complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner so as to facilitate the efficient Administrative, Council requirements and financial management of each project.

It is anticipated that the Construction Supervisor will have the appropriate skills, Supervisor’s License and White Card to successfully manage all construction projects. It is also required that the Construction Supervisor takes an active interest and keeps themselves up to date on all construction laws and legal requirements.

The Construction Supervisor is required to demonstrate integrity, high level interpersonal skills, and effectively contribute to maintaining a professional standard in Bailey Homes work ethics, presentation, verbal and written communications. This includes having a capacity to work effectively under pressure whilst also reprioritising workloads to achieve required outcomes. It is expected that the work practices of the Construction Supervisor will easily be recognised as contributing to the realisation of the Vision, Mission, Culture and Brand objectives of Bailey Homes.
