About the role

We are seeking an energetic, motivated and organised Warehouse Assistant to join our team at K&A Cleaning Supplies in North Plympton, South Australia. This part-time role (initially starting at around 25 hours per week) will involve supporting our warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods.

The warehouse space is presented in a supermarket style format, where shelves and racking are occupied with cleaning industry related products - we are not a warehouse dealing with palletized goods being moved in and out with a forklift all day long.

What you'll be doing

Ordering, receiving, checking and unpacking incoming stock

Safely unloading pallets/cartons from delivery trucks, using a forklift or manual handling as required

Accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer orders

Maintaining stock levels, performing stocktakes and replenishing inventory as required

Liaising with suppliers and delivery personnel

Delivery of customer orders if required

Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and well-organised

Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed

What we're looking for

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work

Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure

Highly organized, with great time management skills

Motivated, with a great eye for detail

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items

Ability to use warehouse management systems and inventory control processes

Preferably, experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

Computer and data entry skills

A proactive and flexible approach to your work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive problem solver, with a can-do attitude

Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
