St Helens Bar and Burgers have an excellent opportunity for a full time Sous chef to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of kitchen operation, including ordering, prep, service and clean up. Strong skills required in cleanliness, time management, quality control, leadership, and communication. Our kitchen prides itself on delivering high quality food in a timely manner, in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Tasks include
creating menu items, ordering product, monitoring labour and food costs
ability to cook and ensure the quality of food at every step, from prep to service
advising front of house of any food issues
helping to hire, train and advise staff
ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are adhered to
Applicants for this position should:
Have a cert 4 in commercial cookery
At least 2 years relative full time experience
