As our Junior Social Media Manager, you’ll work closely with our Creative Director and Brand Manager to bring DCO’s brand to life online. You’ll help shape our voice across platforms, execute complex multi-channel campaigns, and contribute to a team that’s dynamic, innovative, and proud of what they do.

About the Role

You’ll be hands-on in delivering our social media content daily—responsible for the development and execution of DCO’s digital presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and more. This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to take the next step, grow their skills, and become a trusted contributor within our creative team.

Key responsibilities include:

Support the delivery of the Social Media Calendar, aligned with the Marketing Calendar

Create and schedule engaging, brand-aligned content using Adobe Creative Cloud, Planable, and Meta Business Suite

Assist in the management of paid Meta and Google social campaigns, with guidance from the senior team

Respond to audience comments, DMs and questions in a timely and professional manner

Monitor and report on social performance metrics monthly, offering ideas for continual improvement

Help coordinate influencer campaigns, content approvals, and partnerships

Produce video and photo content for social and digital platforms

Maintain consistency with brand tone, visuals and messaging

Stay up to date with emerging social trends, content formats and opportunities

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications

A genuine interest in pharmacy and retail industries

Comfortable in front of the camera

Experience using Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads is ideal

Design confidence using Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express)

A proactive, positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Comfortable managing deadlines and juggling multiple projects

A team-first mindset with great communication skills—you’re collaborative, reliable and happy to ask questions
