Gusto Riverfront Restaurant is located in a prime position on the Noosa River and was established in 1999. The restaurant is a fast paced Bistro and attention to detail is a must. We have a passion for hospitality and a love for people.

The restaurant is:

• 140 seats including a private dinning room;
• European Bistro with French influence.

This Role will fit a person who enjoys being hands on with customers and our team, we do not believe in running a restaurant behind a desk.

As well as providing the most delectable experience to our patrons, your role will consist of:

• Working with the Assistant Restaurant Manager to respond to customer enquiries, including functions
• Engaging with our customers to create an exceptional experience
• Training and nurturing our front of house team
• Maintaining our standard of service
• Rostering front of house staff and managing staff shifts to minimise labour costs
• Meeting KPIs for budget, wage costs and profit

We are looking for:

• A leader with a proven track record in senior roles, particularly with experience in fine dining or a European bistro
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• a Noosa local or a well travelled and dined person who will understand a discerning clientele
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
• Bar experience and knowledge of cocktails

Qualifications / Experience:

In Australia required:

1. AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) alternatively
2. three years of relevant experience that may substitute formal qualifications listed above
