We are seeking a reliable, principled and self-motivated individual to join our free range poultry farm team in the Mt Barker region.

About the Role

Reporting to the Farm Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for day to day farming activities and requires a high level of responsibility including:

Monitoring and reporting on KPI’s and other metrics as directed and required

Leading, training and motivating farm workers to achieve quality outcomes in a professional and commercial environment

Being committed and actively creating an environment that drives continuous improvement in animal welfare, quality, productivity and environmental awareness

Adhering to relevant legislation and Group policies, principles and procedures

Collaborating with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities and working with them to create a safe workplace

Championing animal welfare in everything you do

What We Need from You

Having worked in the field of poultry livestock, you will have a track record in delivering results and reporting against key performance indicators

Experience in working autonomously in an unsupervised environment

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail

A passion for teamwork to achieve our commercial and ethical goals and deliver profitable outcomes
