A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong Data Centre expertise to join their project delivery team on an initial twelve month contract.

Joining a stable, collaborative team environment, this role will be responsible for the working on the build, configuration and deployment of project initiatives within their large, complex network. Among one of the long-term projects is the pivot towards automating their network using Python, Ansible and Cisco NDFC as their orchestration tool - any experience with any of these tools is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certifications (CCIE etc.)
• Demonstrated network engineering experience gained within large, complex environments
• Proven knowledge and experience designing, engineering and configuring large datacentre and campus networks (i.e. VXLAN, EVPN, VPC)
• Advanced knowledge and experience supporting, maintaining and configuring core routers and switches (Cisco Nexus) along with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Experience using network management and deployment tools such as NDFC
• Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently as required

Please note this is a Sydney-based role which will require you to be in the office at least two - three days per week.
