Project/Program Overview

Project summary

Implement processes and solutions to support electronic prescribing for Virtual Care clinicians (whilst supporting Virtual Care triage calls), including capability for sending tokens to patients for dispensing at a Community Pharmacy (outside hospital).

Complete a commercial impact analysis to provide an understanding of the future efforts required to implement electronic prescribing within Tasmanian Health Service

Establish a formal collaboration framework and funding agreement with Victorian Virtual ED to share resources, expertise, and technology to deliver a Virtual ED for Tasmanians.

Strategic vendor management skills, optimising vendor performance, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Expertise in leading change management initiatives, driving successful adoption of new technologies and processes, and mitigating resistance to change.

Duties/Activities

Health Project Manager

Strategically develop and refine project plans and associated documentation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, regulatory and funding requirements, and best practices.

Effectively manage the delivery against the approved work order to effect the required change in a structured and formalised manner.

Lead stakeholder management efforts, managing diverse stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.

Expertly manage project risks, proactively identifying potential disruptions and implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Lead budget and resource management oversight, optimising financial allocation and resource utilisation to achieve project objectives effectively.

Drive quality assurance initiatives, ensuring delivery of high-quality digital health solutions that exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Ensure transparency and accountability through comprehensive project reporting, providing strategic insights and recommendations for project optimisation.

Strategically manage vendor relationships, optimising contract terms, monitoring performance against SLAs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead change management initiatives, driving adoption of new technologies and processes across healthcare organisations, and mitigate resistance to change.
