Ocius Technology is an Australian company that builds autonomous Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs). These USVs use the energy of the weather - sun, wind, and waves, to act as persistent monitoring and communications platforms. We are embarking on an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations around Australia and beyond.

We are seeking a part time Recruitment Officer, who will work in the HR team, reporting to the Head of HR.

The basis of the role involves carrying out the steps of the internal Recruitment Process to deliver exceptional panel and candidate experience, with the aim of hiring good-fit, highly skilled individuals who love their jobs!

This job is mostly on site in Alexandria, with some scope for WFH. Flexible start and finish times, and which days of the week are worked, can be easily negotiated, but must fall into a regular pattern.

Selection Criteria

TAFE or tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management

Procedural and methodical in carrying out their work, and can use technology platforms effectively to manage candidates

Experience in an end-to-end talent acquisition role (internal or agency)

Manages stress well, and is friendly and kind towards others

Understands the need for confidentiality and integrity in Human Resource Management

Desirable: Genuinely excited about technology, production and engineering roles; Team player; experienced in the importance of making decisions within a team environment

It is essential to be an Australian citizen for this role, and to obtain and maintain a minimum of Defence Security Clearance-NV1
