Paradise Lakes Care Centre is one of Queensland’s few small boutique aged care facilities.

We have 48 residents, above Award Rates, a Homelike Environment and Supportive Management.

Located in Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast, we are currently recruiting for an experienced, casual / part time Cook/Chef.

Shifts are from 0600 to 1330 and 1430 to 1800

To succeed, you will possess experience, knowledge and skills in the following areas:

• Experience working in an aged/health care environment
• Competent in food preparation
• Capable of prioritising work within established routines, methods and procedures
• Post-meal time cleaning of kitchen
• Working well under limited supervision
• Possess sound communication skills
• Have good computer skills
• Strong customer service ethos and empathy for the elderly
• Adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.

Flu Vaccination is a mandatory requirement of the role.
