Petersons Armidale is a branch of the family-owned Peterson’s wines located in the Hunter Valley. Here in Armidale we operate a seven-room guesthouse with an onsite restaurant, function space and cellar door.

Petersons Guesthouse & Winery Armidale are currently seeking casual hospitality all-rounders. We have roles available in both:

- Wait staff for lunch, dinner & functions shifts

- Housekeeping attendants

- Breakfast cook

The wait staff role would suit those that have a can-do attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment. Key responsibilities

Confident in your ability to communicate to guests and co-workers

Take food and beverage order from guests

Willing to set up and pack down function spaces

Maintain and follow health & safety procedures

Always presented in uniform and professional manner with a high regard for personal grooming

Be able to work weekends

Check in guests to accommodation

The housekeeping shifts you will be expected to have high attention to detail, be able to follow procedure, work independently or within a team and have excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities of housekeeping include

· Ensuring all guests rooms are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation

· Laundry & storage cupboards are always kept clean

· Common & public areas are presented to a high standard

· Some laundry & linens are washed onsite and expected to be turned over with high standards

· Tidying of function spaces

To be considered for the above roles you must:

Australian working rights with ability to work across a varied roster including mornings, evenings, weekends & public holidays

Previous experience in hospitality advantageous however not essential, all training provided

Must be willing to work weekends, Shifts also available Monday to Friday

Have a valid RSA or willing to obtain (Wait staff)

This role works off a weekly rotating roster and is flexible to last minute changes.
