The Opportunity
Are you passionate about information management and looking to make a meaningful impact?
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Senior Information Management Officer to join our team.
There is currently one (1) fixed term/ available for immediate filling until 22 May 2026, with the possibility of extension(s) or permanency.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling complex information management issues, maintaining and accessing information resources, and providing training to staff. You will also assist in developing information management tools and ensure the integrity and accuracy of our information systems. You will also ensure all files (physical and electronic) are created, processed and maintained in accordance with Branch Policies and the Department’s Retention and Disposal Schedule.
The role may include physically strenuous activity including moderate lifting and carrying of items up to 15kgs in weight.

- Demonstrated experience in an information management environment with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and standards.
- Maintain files and documents with confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Communicate clearly and confidently with a diverse range of people.
- Be positive, flexible and customer focused.
- Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships.
