We are looking for a motivated, self driven marketing specialist to increase brand awareness, help harness the power of our imported product lines, grow sales, improve our website performance, expand our eCommerce accounts, and produce advertising material with the support of our graphic designer and SEO consultants.

The McFarlane team works at Head Office in the thriving Eastern suburb of Ringwood, Melbourne.

About you

You will take the lead on tasks that help us achieve our marketing goals including website management, product promotion, manufacturer representative liaison, advertising, eCommerce management, design, and production.

Experience in the medical devices industry is preferred.

The ability to multiskill, problem-solve, prioritise tasks, and communicate with fellow team members is important.

Ideally you will commence this role at the start of May 2025.

Responsibilities

Work with the sales team to assist them to further develop the existing customer base.

Help drive budgeted and profit objectives.

Manage the website (Commercebuild ERP-integrated with Sage 300) product content, landing pages, filters, and design with the aim to increase revenue.

Own the overall performance of digital channels to drive growth, engagement, and online performance (including conversion).

Identify and qualify new opportunities through connecting with procurement, manufacturers, and clients.

Help problem-solve business challenges coupling outside of the box thinking with business acumen.

Work with suppliers and the Sales and Management team to create and manage brochures and catalogues.

Assist with conference event management, help merchandise for trade shows, product launches and other events.

Lead our EDM strategy, SEO efforts and LinkedIn posts.

Review metrics and analyse data to improve website performance and forecast and track website targets and budgets.
