You will be joining a construction company based in South West Sydney.
Your new role
You will be working as the dedicated Workforce Manager to oversee and manage workforce allocations across multiple construction sites in NSW. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining accurate records, fostering strong client relationships, and WHS. Your main duties will include:
- Oversee workforce allocations and scheduling across various sites.
- Manage, mentor and develop a Team of schedulers.
- Maintain accurate and timely reports as per business needs.
- Handle after-hours calls as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct company inductions for new employees.
- Manage employee entitlements (annual leave, sick leave, RDO leave).
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Conduct on-site inductions and safety audits.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and HR to align workforce strategies with business goals.
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Provide WHS guidance and support to site managers and workers.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Proven experience in workforce management, in the construction industry this is a must-have).
- Strong understanding of WHS standards and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -a person with a confident personality would fit into this role.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Proficiency in using workforce management software.
