We are a boutique property development and investment firm with a portfolio spanning residential housing, rural land, and biodiversity offset projects. Our team is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and purpose-driven, and we’re seeking a capable project coordinator to help us deliver renovation works, manage contractors, and liaise with councils and consultants.
The Role
We are looking for a fluent Mandarin speaker to take charge of overseeing small to mid-scale renovation projects, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder communication are consistently met. You will manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and town planners, playing a key role in driving the success of each project.
This position is ideal for someone who is practical, organised, and able to confidently navigate both hands-on renovation work and the back-office coordination required to keep projects on track. Your ability to communicate in Mandarin will be essential for liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth operations across all stages of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate renovation and improvement projects from planning to handover
Source and compare quotes; manage trades and supplier relationships
Oversee works on-site to ensure quality, safety, and deadlines are met
Liaise with local councils, certifiers, and town planners for required approvals
Ensure compliance with zoning, development, and environmental requirements
Track project budgets, progress, and documentation
Support other property projects including land banking and rural acquisitions
About You
Experience in property renovation, project management, or development coordination
Confident working with trades, suppliers, and council stakeholders
Strong organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
Fluent Mandarin language skills – essential for internal communication and supplier engagement
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Understanding of planning or DA processes (advantageous but not essential)
Eager to be part of a small, driven, and flexible team
Experiences or education degrees in Town Planning, Property Development, Finance or related would be valued
