Franca Design is a natural stone material supplier with an emphasis on Architecture and Design, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the Franca La Familia to predominately work within our Brisbane Slab Room, as we do have three locations the right candidate will have to have a high level of attention and be quick thinking.

The Location

Our office and warehouses are located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, Coolum, Sunshine Coast and Ballina in Northern NSW.

Our clients range from the general public to small and large builders, cabinet makers, architects and designers.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Manager to be responsible for material, inventory and logistics to support the Asset Manager. This opportunity requires someone who can exemplify our brand and values, manage their time, maintain order and stock levels.

The Role

Key duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

Maintaining schedule and stock levels using job tracking and scheduling software.

Organising with suppliers, clients, transport companies and internal staff, transportation of stone and stock to and from suppliers, our warehouse and job sites.

Working and collaborating with the office and production to ensure material is ready and prepared for processing.

Taking pictures of material for draftsmen and machine operators - noting any defects, pits,scratches or other issues with the raw material.

Maintaining a clean and ordered warehouse, plant, equipment and work space.

Using forklift, cranes and trucks to move and transport material.

Manual lifting and general labouring.

Properly and safely load and unload slabs/offcuts & containers.

Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on forklift

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.

Experience within the stone industry

White Card

Drivers licence

Own vehicle

Forklift Licence

Truck licence (desirable but not required)

Ability to work as part of a team.

Excellent time management skills, this role requires strict adherence to deadlines.

Strong organisational skills to ensure projects run smoothly and within the required time frames.

A strong technical understanding of stonemasonry and all the different types of materials and

finishes. (desirable but not required)
