About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team at Guardian Building Group in Emu Plains, NSW. This is a part-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and managing the accounts payable and receivable functions for our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments and reconciliations

Preparing reports from time to time.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files

Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting tasks

Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Collaborating with the financial controller

Support for finanical controller when on leave for additional days

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts clerk or similar role, preferably within the construction or building services industry

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as general accounting principles

Proficient in using accounting software, such as MYOB

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
