Southside Fitness is one of Australia's largest independently owned Fitness and Gym Equipment Retailers. Southside Fitness is a Queensland based organization that has been steadily growing since its inception in 2006. The business is always looking to expand its products to meet consumer expectations.

Qualifications & experience

At least 2 years of retail sales skills, preferably in the fitness or sporting industries is desirable, with the ability of managing and re-ordering stock

The ability to use MYOB accounting software is desirable but not essential

The successful applicant must have the ability to safely load and unload stock for customers and delivery drivers

The successful applicant must be able to work weekends.

The successful applicant must be physically fit for this position.

This position is available for an immediate start

Tasks & responsibilities

Ensure the smooth operation of the store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, store presentation and cleanliness of the store and warehouse, visual merchandising and stock level management.

Must be able to handle a large volume of customers in the store at any one time

Must also have the ability to run a large store on your own

A strong work ethic is a must with a passion for health and fitness

Must excel in customer service and be very hands on

The successful applicants MUST be able to work weekends.

The ability to clearly communicate with staff members from all stores

Must be able to free think and use common sense when dealing with customers' needs

The successful applicant must have a POSITIVE, MATURE ATTITUDE and be PUNTUAL.

Own transport is desirable.
