About the role

We have an exciting casual retail assistant role available at our Morie Candles store in Miranda Westfields, NSW. As a Casual Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and supporting the sales team in achieving our goals.

Availability Required:

Able to work Monday - Wednesday 9:15am - 6:00pm on a regular basis after 11/05/2025.

Must have! For periods 28/04/2025 - 11/05/2025, able to work flexible hours due to Mother's Day peak season

What you'll be doing

Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience

Assist with the display and merchandising of products to create an inviting store environment

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Restock shelves and maintain overall store cleanliness and organisation

Support the sales team in achieving daily and weekly sales targets

Respond to customer inquiries and handle any complaints or issues in a professional manner

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced retail environment

Availability to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Minimum Days required per week would be 3 days. Each day 9 hours per day. During Peak Season, hours will change accordingly to suit the business needs.
